Dear reader,
I can’t believe that as I write these words, my time as editor-in-chief of the Moosepaper has come to an end... this is it!
As editors-in-chief, it was Maddie and I’s mission this year to grow the paper into an online publication. This year, above all, has been a year of transformation and augmentation for the Moosepaper. Established a few years ago, the Moosepaper was a hard-copy, once-a-term publication. Our primary goal for this year was to create a sustainable, convenient, and accessible platform for writers all across the Fay community to share their articles, opinions, and stories.
I am incredibly proud of what our entire staff, along with the continued help of Mr. Roberts and Mr. Abeln, has been able to achieve in this year. The website stands today as a symbol of our growth as a publication, and I hope that in years to come, it will be continued to be populated with rich, informative, and thought-provoking pieces of writing.
To all the storytellers out there, I implore you to continue sharing your work with those around you. Writing is a divine platform where any and every story can be shared, and I hope that Fay continues to support and encourage students to convey their ideas with those in the community.
I consider myself extremely lucky to have played such a role in bringing about the development of the Moosepaper this year, and as Fay continues to grow, accept, and encourage new ideas, I hope that they will be reflected in years to come in the paper. As always, as I continually bug friends to do: take photos, love one another, and write away!
I wish next year’s editor-in-chief, co-editor-in-chief, and staff the best of luck. See you again, Moosepaper.
