The longstanding annual Quebec trip was an amazing and truly unforgettable experience. Where else could I go dog sledding and snow tubing, get lost on top of the slopes, tour an ice hotel, drink five cups of hot chocolate in one day, O.D. on maple syrup, not be judged for eating maple syrup that had been poured on snow and frozen into taffies, have excessively buttery croissants for breakfast every day, walk in leg-deep snow, be on two 8-hour bus rides, cross a border twice, film a vlog of the whole experience, and STILL manage to finish an ancient presentation in the span of less than 96 hours? You tell me.
Day 1: We arrived in Quebec at our hotel, were guided around the upper area of the city, went ice skating in front of the Chateau Frontenac, drank hot chocolate, and took many ~artsy~ photos.

Day 2: We had a buttery, chocolatey breakfast in Old Quebec, then had time to explore the area. Afterwards, we travelled to the Hotel du Glace, a hotel made entirely of ice. Afterwards came the snow tubing and me getting lost on top of the slopes– I mean, holding everyone up for almost an hour– I mean, uh, lots of fun! For dinner, we went to the Sugar Shack, observed traditional maple syrup-making machine, had a traditional Quebecian meal, and danced a lot.

Day 3: After another buttery, chocolatey breakfast and further tour, we had free time to explore the city and buy souvenirs. This was followed by a visit to the Cathedral-Basilica church, where our bus conveniently broke down and everyone had ample time to buy Catholic souvenirs and slid down the huge piles of snow. With another set of buses, we travelled to Montmorency Falls and observed the scenic views. To end the day, after dinner, we returned to the Chateau and went tobogganing and hot-chocolate drinking. *subtly omits that the real end of my day was cramming Ancient*

Day 4: Last day! After an American breakfast, we picked up our suitcases from the hotel and went dog-sledding! Then we went snow-shoeing and played with the puppies, before getting on the bus to head home.
