My Dumb Opinion II

I think we are there. In fact, I’d argue that we’ve been there for about a year or two. It's my dumb opinion that we have crossed the threshold of too many comic book movies. When I can name six actors that have played Batman and three that have played Spider-Man in my lifetime, then we are at saturation. When Ant-Man, a minor character in the Marvel Universe, has his own full length feature, it’s time to move on. Maybe explore some other topics for movies. Yet, we keep throwing away our hard earned shekels to see how Spider-Man defeats ‘his greatest foe’ this time! He uses his web. He always uses his web. There, I saved you $13.00. I find it amazing that people keep flocking to the cinemas to see stories that have already been told...ad nauseum! Whoa, Batman is still rich and brooding?! Now way! Everything these days is a reboot, prequel, spin off, adapted-from-the-award-winning-novel, based on true events regurgitated crap. Please please please can we try something new. If I see another ‘new version of the Batmobile,’ or the Mark XIL Iron Man suit, I am going to Hulk smash my computer. Let's all make a resolution this year to watch something else for a change. Let’s keep the comics on paper for a while and off the silver screen.
